Josh likes to work closely with his clients to achieve an exceptionally innovative and inspirational garden design that is carefully considered and personally tailored to each client and their individual outside space.

His designs reflect both a clients personality and style; whilst also taking all-important visual cue's and inspiration from the clients house and the local surroundings. Josh's enthusiasm, dedication, graphic design background and garden design training at Capel Manor enable him to offer exciting and well considered spatial solutions that encompass the very essence of the site.

There are many garden and planting design styles to consider from contemporary, urban and modern through to traditional, formal, cottage, Art & Crafts, New World, Mediterranean etc... Josh can advise you about the many options and create an innovative garden and planting design for your outside space in any style.

Every garden brings its own idiosyncracies: aspect, soil, wind, drainage, location etc... which affects planting options as well as the amount of time a client has to tend their plants and their plant knowledge. This will be taken into account throughout the design process. Josh and his team will be able to plant your garden up, when the landscapers have finished.

Prior to being a garden designer and planting designer, Josh was a senior TV creative, graphic designer and photographer. He has taken his creative flair, practical design talents and attention to detail, married them with his garden design training and knowledge of plants, to become an inspirational garden designer.

Josh designs urban and country gardens in and around London, as well as throughout the UK and Europe. An enthusiastic, dedicated and versatile designer who enjoys getting the design pitch 'just right'.
